LOTS of new info:

Most Importantly:

JV Needs one more parent driver to transport girls to camp. Please let me know if you are able to drive to camp, If nobody steps up I will start calling and begging and you don't want me to do that :) The drivers I have now are:

Kim Potts
Margie Harms

Secret Sister Agenda for Camp:

We will be drawing names for secret sisters at practice on Thursday to make camp even more fun than it is. Please remember to keep this a SECRET (its most fun this way) and follow the directions below:

Day 1: Make a door sign. The door sign should include your Secret Sisters name. The rest is yours to be creative! Some ideas from the past are: a small white board that is decorated, wooden letters that are painted, & a cork board that is decorated.

Day 2: A small note giving hints who you are, a $2 -$3 dollar gift, and some words on encouragement. Don’t be too specific with your hints. A few ideas are: candy/gum your Secret Sister likes, lip gloss, a cheer bow or slippers.

Day 3: A note with specific hints, a $10 gift, and your name. Some ideas from the past are: bath set, cheer pillow or pillow case, school attire, or something you know your Secret Sister would love.

Please take some time and effort on this. You want to make your Secret Sister feel special and enjoy it!

PLEASE HAVE DAY 2 & 3 IN A BAG OR WRAPPED. THANK YOU!!!

The following are a few reminders and FYI's for parents regarding camp:

A few reminders concerning camp next week.

  • We will be staying in Williams Village Dorm Complex. Williams Village is located at 500 30th Street, Boulder, CO.
  • My cell number is (815) 508-6189 Coach Balagna's # is (720) 352-6811 and Coach Amanda’s # is (303) 731.7983. We may not have our phones with us at all times, but we will be checking periodically for voice messages.
  • The girls need to be at Heritage High School (main parking lot) at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Tuesday, June 8th. There, the girls will be assigned to a vehicle at that time.
  • Lunch will not be served on Tuesday, June 8th. Each girl will need to bring her own healthy lunch that day.
  • Each girl must have her belongings together in a duffel bag. An additional small bag can be used to carry personal belongings. Everything in their duffel/small bag must be marked with a name or initials. Please bring all camp clothing. Please review your packing list when preparing for camp. Please do not bring luggage/suitcases w/ wheels etc. These take up too much room in the vehicles and are too much of a hassle.
  • Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the All Star Tryouts and Final Evaluation and Awards on Thursday, June 10th at 6:30 pm and Friday, June 11th at 9:00 a.m. These performances will both take place in the field east of Williams Village Dorms at Darly Commons.

As always, please call/text me with any questions or concerns.

I believe that is all of the information for now, Please check the blog several times a day all the way up until camp as I will post new info as I receive it!!

Make sure you read the invitation to the JV Pool Party that will be on Friday. Everyone is expected to attend as it is in place of practice. A good fun bonding experience for you and your parents!! :)

Please be on time (5 min early) and ready to work HARD tomorrow night at practice. I hope you are all doing your strengthening and conditioning at home as well as working on your motions and jumps.

If you haven't already turned in your camp waiver please bring it to me tomorrow at practice.

So excited to see you girls tomorrow night, I've missed you!! :)
