I hope everyone and their families have a
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Basketball Schedules through the end of the semester:

**If you are scheduled to cheer you MUST be at the game or find a substitute that is the same stunting position as you!! It must also be approved through me AT LEAST 3 days before the game unless it is a last minute emergency in which I need acceptable documentation.

If you are not scheduled and you want to cheer you are more than welcome to come to the game to cheer but the same rules apply to you as if you were scheduled and I need to be notified at least 24 hours in advance...example: you must be there the entire time, no sitting out/halfway doing things, etc.

There are no "specific" basketball cheers at this point. We will focus on more bball cheers after winter break as we will not have to worry about competitions. You are to do the "general" cheers that were done at football. (no 1st down, touchdown, etc.) Words can be changed as well but don't stress about this too much:
example: Touch-down eagles score score = Let's-Go Eagles Score Score

If your name is listed in bold under a game YOU are responsible for calling cheers at the game which means you need to know your cheers and how to call them.

Update!

Butterbraids will not be delivered until 7 and they will need a minute to sort and get everything situated. My suggestion would be to be there at 8:10 to get them picked up at the same time you are picking your girls up!

Girls:

Please Please Please come into this week with a positive attitude. You have all worked very hard to get to the point you are and let's not take steps backwards. We have overcome many obstacles throughout the season but that is what makes these competition experiences so much more special. That despite the ups and downs you can still come together as a team and represent Heritage High School in the most positive way possible. I am so proud of how far you have come. We have a lot of work to do Tomorrow and Wednesday and it will be tough but so worth it.

We will be doing s'mores so you also need to bring the following supplies:

Ashley F, Ashley C, Mary H, Mary B, Alisha, Michelle

Amethyst, Delaney, Jamie, Sammi, Chrissy, Chelsea, Tiffany
HERSHEY BARS (at least 4 full sized bars or one of the packages of hershey bars that has several bars in it) You can never have too much chocolate!!

Julie, Katie, Maddi, Jasmine, Aubrey
GRAHAM CRACKERS

It will be lots of fun and a time for us to get together and think of something "not cheer" before our rush of competition season!!

For Saturday:

The varsity team has changed competition divisions and so we will not have their competition time until this evening. I am anticipating it will be an early time therefore we will probably meet together, carpool down, carpool back and then have practice!! Please be flexible I will hopefully have all information up tonight!!

**We also need to be gearing up for competitions, we have one on wednesday and saturday this next week. Please volunteer to carpool and help out as needed by responding to the emails that are being sent out. This is a team effort for not only the girls but the families as well!! :)

Friday: Girls, please keep in mind what I told you last night. You need to come to practice with a different attitude and work ethic. It's crunch time and we have SO much to get done still that I need nothing less than 100% and a positive attitude from ALL of you. :)
